Helena Weigand
Helena Weigand is a PhD student with Rachel Grange at ETH Zurich. Since 2019, she is working on nonlinear metasurfaces for the visible and near-infrared spectrum. She contributes with her expertise in novel and conventional approaches for nanofabrication, linear and nonlinear optical characterization and simulation of periodic nanostructures. Before joining ETH, she studied physics in Regensburg, Germany with a focus on light-matter-interaction and ultrafast THz-optics, broadening her knowledge with an exchange to Montpellier, France and Lancaster, GB.
